TERMS and conditions
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING YOUR TOUR WITH ROYAL EGYPT TRAVEL LLC
The following terms and conditions apply to any tour booked with Royal Egypt Travel LLC (hereinafter referred to as “RET” “our” “us”). By booking a tour with RET, you (hereinafter referred to as, “you” “your” or “traveler”) acknowledge that you (i) understand and accept these Terms and Conditions and (ii) are entering into a contractual relationship with RET.
PRICE POLICY; TOUR DEPOSIT; INVOICING; FINAL PAYMENT
Tours are priced per person, based on shared/double occupancy. Single rooms may be available at an additional cost (review tour itinerary for details). Quoted prices are based on land-only tour packages in Egypt and do NOT include international airfare. Prior to booking, prices are subject to change without notice.
All RET tours require a non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit in order to reserve a space on a tour. Upon receipt and confirmation of the deposit, the Travel Director will provide an invoice by email which reflects tour reservation details and outstanding balance, if any. Upon receipt of the invoice, you are responsible for verifying your information and notifying RET of any discrepancies or errors. If there is an error in the billing, RET will send a revised invoice to reflect the correct pricing.
If a tour is not paid in full at the time of the space reservation, full or partial payments towards the outstanding balance can be made online at any time. Payments can be made by credit/debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, AMEX) or by ACH withdrawal from a US bank account through PayPal account. Visit Payments to submit.
Alternatively, the outstanding balance of your tour can be setup on automatic monthly payment plans, which will allow you to be automatically billed for an agreed-upon monthly payment. This feature will allow travelers to setup a one-time billing authorization that eliminates the need to manually submit a payment each month.
Please Note: All payment plan options will incur a one-time processing fee of $75 that will be required at the time of the space reservation.
The final payment for a tour is generally due 60-90 days prior to commencement of the tour (or as otherwise noted). Please review each specific tour for final payment due date details.
TOUR CANCELLATIONS; REFUNDS
All deposits are 100% non-refundable and non-transferrable at the time of payment. There are no exceptions to this policy.
The remaining balance of the tour price will follow the refund/cancellation policy that is is specifically outlined in each tour package. Generally, each tour will allow for a fixed period of time where 50% of the payments made towards the outstanding balance will be refundable. The payments will then become 100% non-refundable after the stated fixed period.
In the event a tour is canceled, RET will refund any amount received from you. RET may, but will have no obligation to, reschedule the tour. RET will not be responsible for any additional costs or any fees incurred by you due to the cancellation or rescheduling of a tour. The cost of airline tickets or other travel arrangements not made by RET shall be the sole responsibility of the traveler.
Travel Protection plans are available and recommended to help protect you and your trip investment. Travel Protection Policies offered by most major travel insurance providers include benefits such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.

This includes gratuities for wait staff and hospitality staff, local hosts, local guides and drivers. Gratuities for your Tour Manager are not included in the tour price and are discretionary.
