Day 1: Welcome to Egypt - Arrive Cairo; Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Cairo Egypt!! Travelers will arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI). A Royal Egypt Travel tour manager will meet each traveler upon arrival and assist through the immigration process, proceeding forward to collect luggage at baggage claim. Your transfer from the airport to the hotel in private, air-conditioned coach is provided. The remainder of the afternoon/evening will be at your leisure.

Day 2: Memphis, Saqqara, Great Pyramids and Sphinx (B, L)
After breakfast, the tour manager will greet the group and provide an overview of the planned itinerary. After the meet & greet, we will depart for a morning excursion to Memphis and Saqqara, followed by Egyptian jewelry & essence oil shopping. Lunch is included at a local restaurant in Giza. Then, we will make an afternoon visit to The Great Pyramids and Sphinx, with Khufu solar ship museum and camel ride included. The afternoon concludes with a stop at a local Egyptian cotton store, then we will return to hotel with the remainder of the evening at your leisure.
Optional Excursions: Entry to Great Pyramid, Nile Cruise Dinner at Maxim Restaurant
Day 3: Fly Cairo to Luxor; Karnak and Luxor Temples (B, L)
After breakfast, the group will depart for a morning flight from Cairo to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will depart for an afternoon excursion to Karnak Temple, a Papyrus Institute and Luxor Temple. The day ends with an early evening carriage ride through Luxor. The group will then return to the hotel with the remainder of the evening at your leisure.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings & Queens, West Bank/Luxor (B, L)
The day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning excursion to Valley of the Kings & Queens and the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After a leisurely lunch at Africa Restaurant, we will visit the Medinet Habu Temple and Colossi of Memnon in the West Bank. The afternoon will conclude with a stop at a beautiful Egyptian Alabaster store and then return to hotel with the remainder of the evening at your leisure.
Day 5: Fly Luxor to Cairo; Egyptian Museum, Mosques and Bazaar (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, the group departs for a morning flight from Luxor to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, we will transfer for a morning excursion to the Egyptian Museum followed by lunch on a Felucca sailboat on the River Nile. After lunch, we will check-in to our hotel in Cairo and then depart for an afternoon excursion to The Citadel of Salah Al-Din, Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The evening will conclude with a farewell dinner for the group at a local restaurant in Cairo.

Day 6: Farewell to Egypt - Depart Cairo; Transfer to Airport
Sadly, this amazing tour has come to an end! Each traveler will transfer from hotel to Cairo International Airport for return flights to the US. The tour manager will arrange airport transportation for each person based upon scheduled flight departure times.

Additions / Optional excursions
Arrive a Day Early – Travelers that wish may arrange to arrive a day earlier than the tour start date. This will allow additional time to adjust to the time change and overcoming jet-lag. This option will include an additional night and private transfer from airport.
Sound & Light Show at Giza Pyramids (Day 1) – Watch as the Great Pyramids and Sphinx are illuminated in multi-colored lasers and visual projections, while listening to the booming music and commentary emanating from the Sphinx that tells the stories of Ancient Egypt and the Pyramids.
Entry to the Great Pyramids (Day 2) – Be one of the limited daily tourists to enter the Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Nile Cruise Dinner at Maxim Restaurant (Day 2) – Enjoy an evening dinner cruise package aboard the Nile Maxim, the most luxurious cruising restaurant on the River Nile. Feast on a gourmet full buffet dinner as the Cairo skyline drifts by, then watch as a belly dancer and Tanoura performers take the stage.
Karnak Sound and Light Show (Day 3) – Highlighting the dramatic history of ancient Thebes, the sound and light show narrates the achievements of some great Pharaohs, with poetic descriptions of the ancient treasures. An enchanting and supernatural experience, with travelers listening to sound effects and gazing at the magnificent ruins illuminated during the show.
